In his extensive career, his roles have varied from construction project management to design build sales. Previously, he was a founder and served as Executive Vice President of JMAR/Matney Corporation, dba Southern Systems, a commercial building supply company based in Austin and Houston, Texas that generated annual sales of 21 million. Deason was also responsible for Vauter Wood Door Company, a subsidiary of JMAR/Matney Corporation with annual sales in excess of 5 million. Some of Deason's accomplishments include developing a full in-house commercial hollow metal shop which was capable of bending and fabricating custom frames and doors. Deason holds a Bachelor of Building Construction Degree from Texas A & M University and is a Design Build professional with the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA). |
