Sam Youngblood

CEO

Sam YoungbloodSam Youngblood is the CEO of ISI Detention

Previously, he was President and CEO of Adtec, Inc., a detention hardware company ranked as the ninth fastest growing public company in America in 1989. He also held a 10-year tenure at Southern Steel, most recently as President and was instrumental in turning around the company through introduction of new detention hardware product.

Youngblood received his BBA in Accounting with a Minor in Finance from Baylor University.


David Deason

Vice President of Sales and Estimating

David DeasonDavid Deason's experience and knowledge in this industry has propelled him to Vice-President of ISI Detention. He brings more than 24 years of industry experience and leadership in both the detention and commercial markets.

In his extensive career, his roles have varied from construction project management to design build sales. Previously, he was a founder and served as Executive Vice President of JMAR/Matney Corporation, dba Southern Systems, a commercial building supply company based in Austin and Houston, Texas that generated annual sales of 21 million.

Deason was also responsible for Vauter Wood Door Company, a subsidiary of JMAR/Matney Corporation with annual sales in excess of 5 million. Some of Deason's accomplishments include developing a full in-house commercial hollow metal shop which was capable of bending and fabricating custom frames and doors.

Deason holds a Bachelor of Building Construction Degree from Texas A & M University and is a Design Build professional with the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).


David Tidwell

Vice President of Business Development

David TidwellDavid Tidwell is the Vice President of Business Development for ISI Detention. He is responsible for all business development activities that result in continued growth of the organization.

David Tidwell joined the organization after working at Southern Folger DEC (formerly Southern Steel) as the Regional Marketing Director managing sales for a 17 state territory that resulted in sales exceeding $17M. Prior to that, he was a part of Southern Steel serving in a variety of successful sales roles.

Tidwell is a well known industry veteran and is an active member of the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) and the American Subcontractor Association (ASA). He is also on the Board of Directors at the Correctional Peace Officer Foundation (CPOF).

Tidwell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
